Warhawk baseball played their first home game of the season at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. They took on UW-Stevens Point in a double header. The Warhawks struggled offensively in the first game and lost 0-4. In the second game, the Warhawks shut out UW-Stevens Point and got the win 2-0. Cade Berendt was credited with the win. UW-Stevens Point was held to just three hits in the second game, while UW-Whitewater had seven.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warhawk Baseball team will be back in action on Sunday, where they\u2019ll take on the UW-Oshkosh Titans in a double header.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Softball<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The UW-Whitewater Softball team will suit up on Saturday to take on Illinois College at 5:15 pm in Bloomington, IL to kick off the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament. The Warhawks are scheduled to play Illinois College on Saturday and Illinois Wesleyan and Illinis College on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the tournament, the Warhawks will travel to Platteville to take on the UW-Platteville Pioneers in a double header on Wednesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
