Last summer one of our other bloggers, Kayla<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Withrow, began a summer series and it was one of my favorites to read! This is why<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">I thought I would start off the same myself. Kayla also started a brand new summer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">series of her own all about making your impact on summer 2022. With that being said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">make sure to click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/2022\/05\/22\/make-your-impact-on-summer-2022-part-1\/\">here <\/a>after you finish reading this blog to get incorporated into hers as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">well! In the previous blog that is a part of this series we talked about great activities you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">can participate in such as hiking, going to the beach, and spring cleaning. Now, let&#8217;s hop into a new set of ventures for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">summer 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Health and Wellness Activities That Will Help You Stay Active This Summer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><li>Have a Picnic<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Going on a picnic brings back a lot of nostalgia for me. I have so many<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">great memories going on picnics with my family and friends as a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Recently, I have noticed that picnics are coming back into style. This<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">makes me happy that the idea is not dying out, but becoming more<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">popular. With that being said, grab a blanket and some snacks and have<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">yourself a picnic! This is a great way to get yourself into the outdoors and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">also relax a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><li>Go on a \u201cHot Girl Walk\u201d<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Now I know this term might sound strange if you have never heard it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:16px\">before, but the phrase \u201chot girl walk\u201d has become widely popular within the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">past few months. This term refers to taking an outdoor walk while listening<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">to a motivational playlist or hearing an inspirational podcast. This walk can<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">be as short or as long as you would like it to be and it can be done solo or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">with friends. All in all it really is just a fun way to get yourself outside and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">excited for the day. Not only that, but walking is a simple and great way to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">exercise. I always recommend a walk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><li>Make a Summer Feel-Good Playlist<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Now, if you\u2019re going on a \u201chot girl walk\u201d you will definitely need a good<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">playlist to listen to. Although this activity may be time consuming for some,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">you can make it your own. Also, get excited while you\u2019re doing this for the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">next time you will be able to listen to it. This activity almost seems<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">therapeutic to me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><li>Go to a Local Farmers Market<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This one is pretty self explanatory. Check out your town&#8217;s farmers market!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">I find this to be a fun way to try out new things and support local<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">businesses. You can do this by yourself for a little alone time, or you can<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">call a friend and bring them along with you! In my hometown Kenosha, we<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">like to call ours the Harbor Market because it is right on the water. It is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">beautiful and one of my favorite places to be when it is warm out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">The fun does not stop here! In just a few weeks we will be releasing another blog<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">on an abundance of more activities for you to partake in for summer of 2022.
