It is important to make sure you incorporate plenty or fruits, vegetables, and protein into your daily diet.\u00a0 Below are just some of the healthy meal and snack options that can be found around campus. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1463\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2018\/04\/Healthy-meal-options-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2018\/04\/Healthy-meal-options-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2018\/04\/Healthy-meal-options-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2018\/04\/Healthy-meal-options.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are salad bars located in both <em>Drumlin<\/em> and <em>Esker Dining Halls<\/em> which make a great meal or side option that is offered for lunch and dinner daily. In addition, <em>Esker Dining Hall<\/em> has a stir fry station with various vegetables you can cook and prepare personally to your liking. The dinning halls also usually provide apples, bananas, and oranges which make for the perfect snack. \u00a0<em>Prairie Street Market<\/em> has opened a salad bar as well during the week called <em>The Green Leaf<\/em>, where they will prepare an individual salad for you as well.<\/p>\n<p>The University Center\u2019s <em>Chopped<\/em> in <em>Ike Schaffer Commons<\/em> is open for lunch during the week. At chopped you can also have a salad made for you personally with a wide variety of lettuce, protein options, and vegetables. Also, there is <em>Willie\u2019s 360<\/em> located in the University Center when there are a wide variety of smoothies are available. A smoothie is a great option when you need to take something to class with you.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u00a0\u00a0 There are also various healthy \u201cgrab and go\u201d options available at the smaller dining locations around campus. Some items they usually have are hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, and salads. <em>Sideline Caf\u00e9<\/em> located in the Williams Center offers various \u201cgrab and go\u201d option as well as another variety of smoothies.<\/p>\n<p>To see the various dining locations on campus and their menus visit the dining <a href=\"http:\/\/campus-dining.com\/uww\/\">website<\/a>. It is important to make sure you get all of the healthy nutrients you need each day. Remember to try to eat a well-rounded diet.
