{"id":1073,"date":"2016-09-26T10:17:15","date_gmt":"2016-09-26T15:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/?p=1073"},"modified":"2016-09-15T10:17:44","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T15:17:44","slug":"surrounding-yourself-with-healthy-positivity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/2016\/09\/26\/surrounding-yourself-with-healthy-positivity\/","title":{"rendered":"Surrounding Yourself with Healthy Positivity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2016\/09\/healthy-positivity.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-1074 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/warhawkfitness\/files\/2016\/09\/healthy-positivity.jpg\" alt=\"healthy-positivity\" width=\"242\" height=\"321\" \/><\/a>\u201cBack to school, back to school to prove my dad I\u2019m not a fool.\u201d That\u2019s right Warhawks, we are finally kicking school mode into gear.\u00a0 Love it or hate it, we have to accept it.\u00a0 May changes go along with a new school year.\u00a0 New classes, teachers, schedules, roommates, houses, the list could go on and on.\u00a0 Going into my last year of college I am determined to surround myself only with positive and healthy energy.\u00a0 I hope no matter what year in school you are, you also surround yourself with healthy positivity.\u00a0 When we shape our environment with healthy energy, our bodies will follow.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Healthy and positive roommates and friends<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How lucky am I to live with people who live and maintain a positive lifestyle? Whether it\u2019s always keeping a good environment in the household, cooking clean meals together or hitting up group fitness classes together in our spare time, I am always surrounded by health.\u00a0 I can\u2019t say in past years, I got this lucky.\u00a0\u00a0 If you are not surrounded by an environment you enjoy, be the change.\u00a0 Like this saying goes, if you can\u2019t find that someone, be that someone.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Healthy and positive Schedule<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This can even mean making happy hour! Although, I am not saying go drink every night, I am saying if time allows enjoy it.\u00a0 Set up a schedule.\u00a0 Make time for yourself.\u00a0 Nothing is worse when you have so much going on where you have no time to enjoy yourself. Take time to plan out your days, workouts and meals.\u00a0 You will be surprised how much more smoothly life can play out.<strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Going off of that.. Healthy and Positive life choices<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have time to go out at night for hours upon hours, you definitely have time for an hour in the gym or an hour to gather yourself a healthy meal. Life is all about choices, so make sure you maintain healthy and positive ones.\u00a0 Instead of putting homework off until that last minute and stressing out, complete assignments before heading out for a long weekend.\u00a0 Have a peace of mind with the choices you are making.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Healthy and positive environment<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your bedroom and home should have a comfortable environment. When you feel at peace in the comfort of your home, your body can become a lot more relaxed.\u00a0 You don\u2019t realize how your living environment truly effect you inside and outside.<\/p>\n<p>A healthy outside starts from a healthy inside.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you learn. I hope you laugh. I hope you never stop.
