{"id":235,"date":"2015-08-24T13:15:14","date_gmt":"2015-08-24T13:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/uwwcols\/?p=235"},"modified":"2015-08-24T13:15:14","modified_gmt":"2015-08-24T13:15:14","slug":"welcome-jennifer-anderson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/uwwcols\/2015\/08\/24\/welcome-jennifer-anderson\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome Jennifer Anderson!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/uwwcols\/files\/2015\/08\/Anderson.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-236 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/uwwcols\/files\/2015\/08\/Anderson.jpg\" alt=\"Anderson\" width=\"212\" height=\"297\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>It is the College\u2019s pleasure to welcome a new faculty member to the University of Wisconsin \u2013 Whitewater.\u00a0 Dr.\u00a0Jennifer Anderson\u00a0joins us\u00a0as an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Department and will also serve\u00a0as the program&#8217;s\u00a0Field Coordinator.\u00a0 \u00a0Dr. Anderson earned her\u00a0Ph.D. in Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work on the IUPUI campus.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Here are a few things about our new colleague:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Hobbies: I have explored many hobbies over the years. My current one is quilting. I enjoy the creative process of blending colors, textures, and designs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Research:\u00a0 My area of research is inter-professional education (IPE) and collaborative program design. In addition, I am interested in how students apply competencies in practice settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Personal Life: My spouse and I have been together for nearly 20 years, but we have been married for 12 years. We have two sons:\u00a0 Mark and Wyatt. At present, we have one dog\u2014a golden retriever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Interesting Facts: I love Star Wars and my funny thing is that I have named all of my dogs after characters from the movies.
