Support Tickets: <\/strong>What&#8217;s the difference?<\/span><\/h4>\n<table style=\"height: 226px;\" width=\"473\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"719\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Service Request<\/span>: <\/strong>\u201cRequest for a new or existing readily available item or action that adds value.\u201d Something a user currently does not have.<strong>Example Service Request:<\/strong>\u00a0A user needs access to a shared folder on the T: drive to share documents with team members in other departments.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"719\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Support Request:<\/strong><\/span> \u201cRequest due to unplanned service degradation or interruption.\u201d Something you have is not working properly or at all.<strong>Example Support Request:<\/strong> The battery in a user&#8217;s\u00a0campus laptop won\u2019t charge.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this year,\u00a0ICIT implemented some of the most significant support and service process changes this organization has seen in quite a while.
