Dr. Weber\u00a0comes to us\u00a0from UW-Milwaukee, where she\u00a0worked in UWM&#8217;s \u00a0equivalent to our LTC. At UWM,\u00a0she\u00a0provided pedagogical and technical support for university teaching staff needing assistance developing online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses. She also supervised level 1 technicians providing D2L support, \u00a0participated in conferences and workshops focusing on learning technology, and wrote grant requests for initiatives related to learning technology. Dr. Weber also served as an associate lecturer at UWM and where she taught multiple classes on educational policy and community studies.<\/p>\n<p>As UW-Whitewater\u2019s Director of Learning Technology, Dr. Weber will be the campus\u2019s leading voice on learning technology initiatives and projects. Along with providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to the LTC team, she will also oversee support for campus learning technologies, serve on committees focusing on learning technology and \u00a0she will help secure grant funds.
