This position will be responsible for working closely with Facilities, Planning &amp; Maintenance (FP&amp;M) to complete both infrastructure-related data runs and classroom-related cabling needs.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate should possess the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Knowledge of network cabling systems, including TIA\/EIA copper and fiber standards.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Crestron infrastructure cabling standards and programming.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of low voltage cables, including speaker wire, serial (RS-232 &amp; RS-422), and other A\/V standards.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Knowledge of coaxial cable standards (RG6, RG59, ETC.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualified candidates can <a title=\"AVCT Cabling &amp; Support Technician job ad \" href=\"https:\/\/my.uww.edu\/employment\/jobs\/AVCTiCIT.html\">apply online via the UWW website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ICIT is currently searching for a qualified technician to install, maintain, and repair campus network cabling infrastructure to support audio, video, and data networks.
