Do you know someone that would be a good fit with ICIT? Do they have workstation management skills?<\/p>\n<p>The candidate\u00a0would be responsible for\u00a0managing workstation software distribution\u00a0for Windows and Mac platforms. This includes designing standard images based on the campus-wide and departmental needs, packaging, testing and distributing applications, troubleshooting issues associated with workstation software, and leading software rollouts such operating systems releases, browser releases and office productivity software. The position reports to Ray Stanek.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Some of the ideal candidate\u00a0qualifications include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in IT field OR four years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Four\u00a0or more years experience working as a desktop\/systems engineer of a large or medium sized company to include all of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Developing, testing, implementing and maintaining imaging, packaging and deployment solution(s) preferably with Novell Zenworks<\/li>\n<li>Managing Microsoft Windows XP (and higher) operating systems in a distributed, multi-site corporate environment is required, experience with Mac OS is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Windows Security, including New Technology File System (NTFS), User Rights, Services, and Active Directory objects\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of Software Distribution Experience with Zenworks or SCCM is required, Casper experience is preferred\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the distribution of Windows and Mac workstations policies and updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage those who are interested or know someone that may be interested to go to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/employment\/jobs\/42481.html\">http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/employment\/jobs\/42481.html<\/a> for a full description of the position and information on how to apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ICIT is looking for a new Workstation Management Technologist!
