What does an average day look like working for the UC? What does your position entail?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n An average day as a Marketing Assistant at the UC begins with catching up with my coworkers, reviewing my to-do list, working on my social media schedule and the descriptions of upcoming events. Each week, I hang posters in Esker Dining Hall, Upham Hall, Hyland Hall, the University Bookstore, and the Roseman Building. Additionally, I manage the UC Facebook page, collaborate on marketing plans to help departments analyze their metrics, take photos, and plan special marketing events for various holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What does being a UC employee mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Being a UC employee fosters both professional and personal growth. It means committing to excellence, bringing your best to work every day, and striking a balance between professionalism and fun. I remember having to film multiple takes because paper kept flying everywhere. It was a fun and entertaining experience, made even better by sharing it with my coworkers in my department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Why should students visit the UC?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students should visit the UC because it is truly the heart of campus. From bowling in Warhawk Alley to attending a UC Live event, the UC offers a diverse array of experiences.
