During these trying times we not only should make sure we are taking care of ourselves physically, but mentally as well. I created a list I personally like to call the \u201c30-Day Self-Care Challenge\u201d to help whoever needs some self-care tips to help become their best self. You can start this challenge today, February 1st, or anytime the future! The items in this challenge can be completed in any order that you would like as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;List 5 things you love about yourself<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a vision board for your future goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Carry a water bottle everywhere you go and drink more water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Unfollow and unsubscribe from any social media accounts that don\u2019t bring you joy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Start a gratitude journal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treat yourself to your favorite meal, no matter how healthy or unhealthy it is&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Implement a new healthy habit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Do a workout you enjoy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Write out 3 positive affirmations and hang them on a mirror<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Make chores more fun to do<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Meditate for 10 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep all meals phone\/technology free<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do something creative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Organize your study space<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Try a new workout you have never done before<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Get dressed up today, even if you aren\u2019t going anywhere<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Write down 3 great things that happened today (no matter how small they are!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Make a playlist of your favorite songs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Declutter one area of your home<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Try a new recipe you have always wanted to make<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Give someone a genuine compliment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No social media before 11 AM&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Do a random act of kindness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go outside, even if it\u2019s for a few moments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Have a phone-free night with family\/friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Call a friend or family member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Go to bed 30 minutes earlier than normal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Have an at-home spa day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Listen to an uplifting podcast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Practice pausing and be mindful to focus on the present<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a couple of bonus days to bring good thoughts and habits into next month as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Try a breathing exercise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Start a new book you have been meaning to try<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule when you plan to prioritize self-care after you finish this list&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes you need to step back from all of the craziness happening in the world and in your life to take the time to prioritize you. Self-care isn\u2019t selfish. Be kind to yourself, even when you don\u2019t want to be.
