- Ruler\/Tape Measure <\/li>
- Marker<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
We are going to make two styles of bags today,\nthe first is Fringe Reusable Bag<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1:<\/strong> Take your t-shirt, and cut each of the sleeves off right along the\nseam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nStep 2:\n<\/strong>Cut the neck of the t-shirt off starting 2 inches from\nthe seam of the neck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nStep 3:\n<\/strong>At the bottom of the t-shirt, draw lines 2 inches tall\nand 1 inch apart. Proceed to cut along each of the lines to create your fringe.\nIf you want a longer fringe look, feel free to cut your fringe 2 \u00bd to 3 inches\nrather than 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nStep 4:\n<\/strong>Tie each corresponding front piece and back piece of\nfringe together. These knots are what will be holding your produce, so tie\nclose and tight nots. Feel free to double knot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe second bag is the Inverted Reusable Bag<\/strong>! If possible, I recommend using\na minimum of a size medium shirt. The example is a size small, and it will work\njust fine, but it is a smaller bag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1\n& Step 2:<\/strong> Repeat steps 1 and 2 from the Fringe\nReusable Bag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nStep 3:\n<\/strong>Layout your t-shirt flat, and cut off the bottom inch\nof your t-shirt. Once the strip is off, cut the circle to create one, long\npiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nStep 4:<\/strong> **IMPORTANT: If you have a\ndesign on the shirt that you would like to be shown, turn your shirt inside out\nbefore continuing with Step 4. <\/em>Gather the bottom of your t-shirt in one\nhand, and with the strip of t-shirt that you just cut off, proceed to tie the\nbottom of the shirt. Tie this as tight as you can, and be sure to double knot.\nWith the remainder of the piece of fabric, feel free to wrap it around the\nbottom and give it a third knot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have fun with these bags! They can represent\nyou, your favorite sports team, school, TV show, or whatever else you and your\nt-shirt stand for. As a helpful tip, I recommend keeping these bags in your car\nso that you will not forget them when you go shopping! You can keep them in\nyour trunk, or the pocket of the seats. Either way, you will be shopping in\nstyle and saving the planet, how cool is that? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
