Hey commuting students! Are you looking for ways to really get into your college experience even though you don\u2019t technically live on campus? Not to worry, the UC is here to help!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Looking for a place to study between classes? The UC is full of nooks and crannies perfect for spending some quality time with those textbooks. There\u2019s lounge space in the Down Under, outside, on the main level, and even all the way up on second floor. Two of our featured areas are the Minneiska Lounge located right outside Career and Leadership Development and the Flambeau Lounge located on the split level between Warhawk Alley and Roberta\u2019s Art Gallery. Speaking from personal experience, I\u2019d also be sure to check out those comfy chairs right outside UC 259\u2026there\u2019s always plenty of space available!<\/p>\n

Before you keep your nose in the books for too long, you\u2019ll want to stop by one of the many UC Dining options for a meal or quick snack. Choices include: Willie\u2019s 360\u00b0 for specialty coffees and Fresh\u00ebns smoothies, Uno Du\u00e9 Go for pizza and other entrees, Graham Street Caf\u00e9 for gourmet sandwiches, as well as the Ike Shaffer Commons for breakfast and lunch options. All UC Dining venues accept cash, credit\/debit cards, Dining Dollars, and Purple Points, but keep in mind that with Dining Dollars you receive a 10% or 15% discount. Outside of studying and eating, everyone\u2019s got to find some time for fun, right? Head down to Warhawk Alley for bowling, billiards, and more. Don\u2019t forget about our \u201cAll Day Dollar Days\u201d on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays where you can rent shoes, play a game of bowling, or shoot an hour of pool for just $1.00!<\/p>\n

After a long day of living the college life, eventually you\u2019ll have to head back to home sweet home. Finding a ride is now free,\u00a0fast and easy with Zimride, yet another of the many services the UC offers.
