Whitewater has many unique dining choices.<\/p><\/div>\n

So…I’ve been gone from UW-W for all of 3 months, and I’m already missing my favorite dishes from local restaurants unique to only Whitewater, Wisconsin.\u00a0You definitely can’t beat the convenience of on-campus options likes Unos, P Street, and the like, but if you’re craving something new, give a few of these a try!<\/p>\n

Jessica’s Family Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>
\nSo. Many. Options! I have literally never in my life been to a restaurant with more choices on the menu at better prices. At some point before you graduate, though, you have to go for breakfast. Get the banana split pancakes. You won’t be disappointed.<\/p>\n

Sweet Spot<\/a><\/strong>
\nCoffee, tea, and delicious treats, all in one convenient package. Keep in mind there are even two locations:\u00a0Head downtown to the caf\u00e9 on Whitewater Street to hang out, study, and just enjoy the atmosphere or stop by the Bakehouse on Main Street for a quick grab-and-go experience. p.s. Yes, the rumors you’ve heard are true; they do have mocha cupcakes, and they’re amazing.<\/p>\n

Yogurt Shoppe<\/a><\/strong>
\nFancy a frozen treat? Whitewater’s own frozen yogurt shoppe offers a variety of flavor options and toppings, as well as Chicago-Style hotdogs.\u00a0Plus, you can use your Purple Points!<\/p>\n

Cozumel<\/a><\/strong>
\nOkay, so you’re right…this one isn’t specific\u00a0to just Whitewater, but there’s no better place on your birthday! Where else will you get to wear a giant sombrero and score some fried ice cream? You can use Purple Points, too!<\/p>\n

Taco Freso<\/a><\/strong>
\nTwo words: Fried avocodo. What else do you need to know?<\/p>\n

841 Brewhouse (formerly Randy’s Supperclub)<\/a><\/strong>
\nThis is the place to take your parents when they come to visit. Friday night fish fry anyone?<\/p>\n

Second Salem<\/strong>
\nHands down favorite, no questions asked. You can’t really ask for more: delicious\u00a0homestyle food, eclectic atmosphere, live music, lounge space, and reasonable prices. I recommend the Wisconsin Mac ‘n Cheese or the Wisconsin Burger. I mean…we are in Wisconsin after all. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
