Hi! My name is Lindsey Novak and I am a senior majoring in Marketing with a Digital Marketing emphasis and a Psychology minor. This is my first semester working as a Marketing Assistant for the UC, and I am loving every second of it! My favorite part about working for the UC is meeting and collaborating with so many new people while being proud of what I do and who I work for! In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, and traveling!
Hi my name is Sarah Hollnagel and I’m a junior studying General Business. This will be my first semester as a Marketing Assistant for the UC. Outside of school, you can find me involved with the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the General Management Org (GMO). In my free time, I enjoy watching Netflix and playing games with friends and family.
Hello everyone! My name is Lainah Mangwiza. I am originally from the beautiful country of Zimbabwe which is located in Southern Africa. In addition, I am a sophomore majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. Outside of classes I am a proud member of the HawkCard Office team where I assume the role of Student Assistant. Being apart of the UC staff has been a constant and positive learning experience that has contributed to the growth of my verbal communication and confidence. Besides campus life , you can catch enjoying the company of my friends.
Hello! My name is Miles Duckert. I am a sophomore Social Work major with a Psychology minor. I am the Student Manager at Roberta’s Art Gallery. Working at the UC has provided me with opportunities to improve my confidence in professional settings as well as practice my interviewing skills. I have really enjoyed my time at the UC meeting new people and collaborating with different departments. In my free time I can be found drawing, listening to or playing music, and trying out new cooking and baking recipes!
Hey! I’m Molly Thomas, a sophomore majoring in communication with a public relations emphasis and a minor in marketing. This is my first year working at the UC and I am currently the newly hired Roberta’s Art Gallery public relations intern. I am so happy to be able to work at the UC to get the workplace experience! Outside of school and work, my interests include: working out, cooking, beauty, and of course watching a good movie or tv show.
Hi! My name is Ryan Nissen and I am a Senior at UW-Whitewater. I am a biology major with an emphasis in cell bio as well as a minor in psychology. I was the Events Coordinator at Warhawk Alley last year and this year I have taken on the role of Pin Chaser Manager. Basically, my position is the head of the student workers that maintain the bowling machines in the alley. In my free time you can find me playing video games or outside enjoying our lovely Wisconsin weather. During the summer months I also enjoy doing landscape and astro photography. If I’m not doing any of those things you will likely find me in front of a TV watching any WI sports team!
Hi! I’m Hannah, a sophomore Film Studies major with a Music minor. I am a general gallery assistant at Roberta’s Art Gallery, and a media technician at the Learning Technology Center. I enjoy working at the UC because it gives me the opportunity to work with creative people who have the same passion for the arts as I do. Outside of work, you will see me writing, making music, and taking pictures.
Hello! My name is Kate Amerling, and I am a senior majoring in communications with a public relations emphasis and a marketing minor. I am currently the PR Intern at Roberta’s Art Gallery. Working at the art gallery is such a blast because we have an awesome team and no day is the same! From working with the different artists to collaborating with the Whitewater community and campus organizations, I have so much fun. If I am not working in the UC, I can be found in an American Marketing Association meeting or doing social media for Intramural and Club Sports. In my free time I love painting, sports, and hammocking!
Hello, My name is Jacob Bailey and I work for UC Entertainment as an Entertainment Assistant! I am a junior at Whitewater and I am majoring in General Business with a minor in Economics and Digital Marketing. The reason why I like working for the UC is being able to collaborate with other departments on a daily basis. Having this opportunity allows for me to network and get to know all of my co-workers better! In addition, in my free time I enjoy to binge watch Hulu and taking part in weightlifting club!
Liz is a junior studying Marketing and Digital Marketing at Whitewater. She’s from a small town in Illinois, but prefers Wisconsin ten times out of ten. As a new member of the Student Marketing Committee at the UC, Liz is excited to contribute and have the opportunity to collaborate with other students.
