I don’t know about you, but I swear by making lists and writing down upcoming events, projects and assignments. If you’re like me and are always jotting down random thoughts, this craft is perfect for you! I’ll show you how you can make your own customized dry erase board that is perfect for quick notes, doodles, or just decoration!

Necessities:

  • Picture frame
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Dry erase markers of course!

Optional materials:

  • Paint and paintbrush
  • Tape

Step 1:

Think of the theme/design you want for this craft. Pick out some cute patterned scrapbook paper for the back of the picture frame, print out a cute design, or draw out a picture/design yourself! Once you have picked this out, remove and trace the back of the picture frame on to your piece of paper to make sure that it will be the right size to fit inside your picture frame.

Step 2:

Cut your paper out to size!

Step 3:

Place your paper into your picture frame with the front of the paper facing outwards for you to see through the frame. Adjust the size of the paper by trimming if necessary.

Step 4:

Place the back of the picture frame back into place and secure it. That’s it! You now have your own personalized dry erase board.

Step 5:

If you want to personalize this craft more, you can paint the picture frame! Just be sure to outline the frame with tape like I did so you don’t get any paint on your glass! Place your frame over paper towel so you don’t get paint anywhere accidentally and get painting.

You probably have these materials laying around your house, so why not take a few minutes out of your day for this craft! It is so simple and easy. Now that you have your new dry erase board, prop it up on your desk or anywhere, or mount it to your wall! Thanks for taking the time to craft with me today, and just keep crafting!
