Traveling to new places might be scary, uncomfortable or even
exhilarating for some. These experiences will shape your understanding of the
world around you.

This makes traveling is very important. You get to meet new people, eat new foods and even learn new things. I would encourage everyone to travel as much as possible to as many places as you can. You will always be able to replace the money you spend, but you can never replace the memories you make along the way.

From a young age, I have always taken family trips. Each year
we would go to a place for a week. Sometimes it would be the Wisconsin Dells or
it would be Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Other times it would be New Orleans, Louisiana
or Las Vegas, Nevada.

But, once I was old enough to travel on my own (without my parents) I did. In 2016, I went to New York, New York, in February, then in March I went to Europe (France and England), then in April I went to Las Vegas with my father, then in the summer my parents, my best friend and I went to Branson, Missouri and finally I went back to New York in December to watch the Ball Drop into the new year .

That was a crazy year of travel for me.

I made some of the best memories with the people I love in
the year 2016. Without traveling, I wouldn’t be able to say that I got locked in
a bathroom in the streets of Paris or everyone thought my father was my husband
in Las Vegas or that New York is really pricy no matter where you go to eat. The
moral of the story is- go out an adventure, whether it is to the next town over
or across the world… you will make some unforgettable memories along the way.

We are connected more now than ever.
