Who the Hill am I?
My name is Kevin Hill, I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and I am majoring in Computer Science with minors in Website Development/Administration and Media Arts/Game Development. Clearly, I like programming, which is why I’m excited to share my experiences with my fellow techies. I’ve completed two internships doing two very different types of web development, so I have seen a wide variety of programming styles while developing a style of my own. I can’t wait to see where this takes me!
Why “The Way I See IT”?
This blog will focus on a variety of web development languages and technologies. I’m hoping to reach any and all current or aspiring web developers, helping to guide best practices for the ever-changing landscape on the web. Each week will have two posts: the first will outline features and capabilities of a specific technology. The second will be my own personal experience working with it, delving into the good, the bad, and the ugly of each. Hence, it’s the way I see it. Shout out to Julia O’Conner for thinking of the title for this blog. It was truly the greatest idea since the last great idea.
