Editor: Anna Davenport
Anna Davenport is a senior who loves drawing, comics and cartoons, and working with children.
Assistant Editor: Kelsey Moyer
Kelsey Moyer is an Environmental Science major that is also minoring in journalism. Typically she can be found laying with her cats or spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite book would either be As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, or The Color Purple by Alice Walker.
Social Media Manager: Colette Cooper
Colette Cooper is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Currently, she is a major in Professional Writing and Publishing, as well as Corporate and Health Communications. She loves fuzzy socks, face masks, and writing. If watching Netflix was a sport, she might qualify for the Olympics.
Layout Designers: Aliyah Noh and Lisee Messer
Aliyah Noh is currently a Layout Designer for the Muse. She is a Fine Arts Major with a Spanish minor, and she has always had a passion for art and the like. Mainly, she works in the medium of painting although she enjoys photography, drawing, and mixed media. She chose to become a part of the Muse because it is a creative outlet on campus with a goal that she 100% supports. She believes the arts are often overlooked at universities and is excited to join the Muse in our journey forward.
Lisalet Messer is a Layout Designer for The Muse. Her life is spent in periods of being awake in between naps, but when she isn’t sleeping she likes to draw silly doodles, watch Let’s Plays, and annoy her sister. She is currently majoring in Media Arts and Game Development and minoring in Art Studio, hoping one day to illustrate her ideas in the form of a game, comic, or cartoon.
Staff: Ariana Van Dam, LaDae’meona McDowell, (and not pictured) Hollyn Peterson, Dylan McCool, Emma Brumage-Kilcourse, and Danielle Kronau
Ariana Van Dam is an English-Literature Major and a Library Science Minor. She has been on The Muse since her freshman year. She is also involved in the NHVP, Student Optimist Club, English Club, and is a Peer Mentor. Her hobbies include reading, writing, painting, and (badly) baking.
LaDae’meona McDowell is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is currently a staff member of The Muse. She is studying English and Creative writing in hopes of one day publishing novels. In her free time, she loves to dance, listen to music and clean. Her hobbies include writing, reading and watching Marvel movies. She is always excited and curious to learn, and always says “please” and “thank you”.
