My heart is still pounding after that thriller at AT&amp;T Stadium! This week the Green and Gold traveled to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in a matchup that many expected to be a revenge game for Dallas after Green Bay knocked them out of the playoffs last season on a final second field goal kick.\u00a0 Little did they know,\u00a0 Aaron Rodgers was as hot as always and led the Pack to another fantastic finish with the Green Bay on top.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers got off to a tough start with some struggles on defense and a missed extra point in the first quarter.\u00a0 Dallas marched downfield for a touchdown on their opening drive, but Green Bay was able to respond by doing the same.\u00a0 With the missed extra point the Packers managed to finish the quarter down by only one with a score of 7-6 Dallas.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The second quarter brought much of the same with another missed extra point from Mason Crosby and two sacks on Aaron Rodgers.\u00a0 Dallas scored two more easy touchdowns making it 21-6 with things looking a little dark for the Packers.\u00a0 Things took a turn for the better though, nearing the end of the half as Rodgers hands off to Aaron Jones for a touchdown.\u00a0 Alas, Crosby again missed the extra point to leave the score at 21-12.\u00a0 Following the Packers score, Dallas led the game to the half with a scoreless possession.\u00a0 Halftime score: 21-12 Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers started the half with the ball and made their way downfield all the way to Dallas&#8217; 4 yard-line, but unfortunately,\u00a0 they had to settle for a field goal, that Crosby thankfully put through the uprights to make the score 21-15 Dallas.\u00a0 The Cowboys end the third quarter without scoring, keeping the score at 21-15 Dallas going into the final quarter of the game.<\/p>\n<p>Things really heated up for Green Bay in the 4th quarter.\u00a0 In the very first play of the quarter, the Packers take their first lead of the game with a touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson making the score 22-21 Packers.\u00a0 Dallas answered back scoring 3 to regain the lead at 24-22 Dallas.\u00a0 The Packers quickly took back the lead though, with an interception to Damarius Randall to the endzone.\u00a0 Again, this touchdown ended with just 6 points, with a failed 2 point conversion.\u00a0 The score, 28-24.\u00a0 The two minute warning approached with no more scores from either team, but Dallas had the ball in the red zone.\u00a0 With just 1:13 left in the game, Dallas takes the lead again; 31-28 Cowboys.<\/p>\n<p>*Finger nail biting starting now*<\/p>\n<p>Lets face it, who would you want as your starting quarterback when you&#8217;re down with minimal time left in the 4th quarter?\u00a0 Aaron Rodgers, obviously.\u00a0 Rodgers saved the day with a quick drive down the field and a touchdown to Davante Adams leaving just 11 seconds left on the clock for Dallas.\u00a0 Dallas was unable to respond, and the good guys took the W.<\/p>\n<p>Final score: Packers 35, Cowboys 31.<\/p>\n<p>Tune in next Sunday as the Packers take on the Vikings in Minnesota at noon.\u00a0 The less of that obnoxious Gjallarhorn we\u00a0hear the better!<\/p>\n<p>Go Pack Go!<\/p>\n<p>-KQ<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whew!
