{"id":151,"date":"2017-11-20T02:23:36","date_gmt":"2017-11-20T02:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/?p=151"},"modified":"2017-11-20T02:26:37","modified_gmt":"2017-11-20T02:26:37","slug":"bal-vs-gb-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/2017\/11\/20\/bal-vs-gb-recap\/","title":{"rendered":"BAL vs GB Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well Packers fans, I&#8217;ll be honest.\u00a0 I&#8217;m starting to find it very difficult to come up with something positive to say about the team we love.\u00a0 It is painful to watch this team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/frustratedgif1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-152\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/frustratedgif1-300x226.gif\" alt=\"frustratedgif1\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today was a struggle again to say the very least.\u00a0 The Packers did not do a lot of anything right.\u00a0 As usual when I&#8217;m frustrated with this team, the recap will be short and sweet.\u00a0 Read on if you&#8217;re prepared to feel defeated.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here it is:<\/p>\n<p>The Packers received to start the game and came away with an interception by Brett Hundley at Baltimore&#8217;s 5.\u00a0 Baltimore was unable to convert the interception into points though, and was forced to punt.\u00a0 The second drive for Green Bay was very similar to the first, in that it ended in another interception, this time at Baltimore&#8217;s 36. This time, the Ravens came away with a field goal, putting the first points of the game on the board.\u00a0 3-0 Ravens. The Packers kicked off the 2nd quarter with a drive resulting in a fumble recovered by Baltimore.<\/p>\n<p>In case you lost track, this was the Packers first three drives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Interception<\/li>\n<li>Interception<\/li>\n<li>Fumble<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/whyyygif1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-153\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/whyyygif1-300x169.gif\" alt=\"whyyygif1\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 2nd quarter continued with not much action until three possessions later when Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw an interception to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at Green Bay&#8217;s 24.\u00a0 This resulted in a big goose egg for the Packers who had to punt.\u00a0 The Ravens were then able to finish off the half with another field goal to bring the score at the half to 6-0 Ravens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the half, Baltimore marched down the field in four quick plays to score the first touchdown of the game.\u00a0 Score: 13-0 Ravens.\u00a0 The remainder of the 3rd quarter was filled with lots of punts and failed 4th down conversions, but no further points scored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 4th quarter did not bring much more action to the table until it was over halfway done.\u00a0 With 6:54 left, Brett Hundley was sacked and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by the Ravens at Green Bay&#8217;s 47 and carried an additional 18 yards to the Packer&#8217;s 29.\u00a0 The Raven&#8217;s again, took advantage of the opportunity with a field goal to make the score 16-0 Ravens. Another Green Bay failed 4th down conversion and Baltimore punt later, Brett Hundley threw another interception giving the Ravens the ball at Green Bay&#8217;s 6.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/dagger1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-154\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/thegreenandgolden\/files\/2017\/11\/dagger1-300x169.gif\" alt=\"dagger1\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Baltimore turned that interception into a touchdown in one fatal play to bring the score to 23-0 Ravens.\u00a0 The game ended with one more possession for each team, and a final score of 23-0 Ravens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you made it this far, congratulations! You survived!
