Meet Gladys and Charmander

Published by at 12:00 pm under Dog and Cat of the Week

This week’s “Dog and Cat of the Week” comes from the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha County. HAWS is an open admission animal shelter and full service humane society. This means the shelter offers pet adoption, dog training, education and training, animal rescue, and much more. HAWS has continued to grow along with their community and is working to build a no-kill community for the greater area.

This week’s dog of the week is…Gladys!

Gladys

Gladys is an adult Bluetick Coonhound that is sure to win you over! She has a sweet, mellow personality and a gentle nature that makes her a relaxed dog. She is the perfect companion for long walks and enjoying nature.

This week’s cat of the week is…Charmander!

Charmander

Charmander is a young cat that is not as dangerous as his name would lead you to believe. He is a sweet cat that loves snuggling and having his tummy rubbed. He likes to spend his time watching birds from the window and pretending to stalk them. If you’re looking for a cat to protect you from birds and a couch companion, Charmander is the one for you.

If you are interested in adopting this adorable dog or charming cat, submit an application by downloading it from the Adopt a Pet page. After filling out the application, attach the completed document to an email and send it to the HAWS of Waukesha County at office@hawspets.org.
