James Sheets is a second semester RA on 4th Floor of Benson. He is a junior with a Business Management & Marketing – Professional Sales Emphasis and a Women’s Studies minor.

Why did you become an RA?: Networking opportunities, resume development, and the ability to help students throughout their collegiate adventures.
What is your favorite thing about being an RA?: All the different people that I get to meet and how no matter what, there’s never two residents alike.
What else are you involved in?: IMPACT (LGBT* & Ally Student Organization) which I am president of. I also work for Career and Leadership Development

Best story so far: I was helping a resident with a concern they had for their roommate and that resident ended up getting me a thank you card and two bags of candy. It was so touching and it was a nice reminder of why I do what I do.
