The first day of spring is coming soon, according to the calendar. Anyone who lives here in Wisconsin knows that we don\u2019t really get spring- we get a long winter that eventually leads into warm weather. We even got a blizzard in the middle of April last year! But regardless of the snow that\u2019s still on the ground, it\u2019s nice to look forward to sunny days and blooming flowers. Last year, when we actually got weather that felt like spring, I went for a walk around the UWW campus and took photos of the many nice flowers that had bloomed. Below I will show some of my favorites from that photoshoot, along with the camera settings that were used, and some tips for taking close-up photos.<\/p>\n

Close-Up Photography Tips
\n<\/strong>When taking close-up photos, set the aperture (F-stop) as low as possible. Get close to the object of focus, either by standing close to it or zooming in with the camera’s lens. Hold the camera as steady as possible, or use a tripod or supporting object so the photos won’t turn out blurry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
