Although most photos shown on here will be from a DSLR camera, I will also include a post with some smartphone photography tips.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Julia Graff (pronounced &#8220;Grahf&#8221;), and I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I will be graduating in May with a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Journalism, emphasis in Advertising.\u00a0I&#8217;m also the Assistant Photo Editor and a photographer for the school&#8217;s official newspaper, <em>The Royal Purple<\/em>. When I&#8217;m not doing homework, you can find me in various spots around campus photographing people, places, and events.<\/p>\n<p>Photography has been a big hobby of mine for the past 10 years, starting when I received my very first digital camera as a Christmas gift in 2008. I gradually moved to taking my photos on various iPods and iPhones I owned over the years, and also use a Fujifilm Polaroid camera for special occasions. Nowadays, I use a Canon DSLR. I have only been doing DSLR photography for about a year and a half, but I have learned a lot through practice and tips from other photographers. Through sharing the helpful information I have picked up, I hope to spark an interest in photography in the readers of this blog.<\/p>\n<p>All photos used on this site are my own.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to my blog!
