Every now and then I try to learn if there’s any important news going on in my hometown, I will just talk to my parents about it. If there’s ever a specific news story I heard about and want to know more about one of the sites I always go to check first is ABCNews.go.com , I choose this site because I trust them to not be biased with their stories and always produce something of quality. Because of these qualities of ABCNews I would call it my favorite news site to get anything newsworthy from and one of my favorite sites in general.I also watch a lot of the news stories that ABC provides on TV, especially David Muir every day to stay up to date on current news. My most used search engine is Google, I’ve been using it my whole life in everything I do so I have no real reason to change on it now. As Ai becomes more commonly talked about and used, the more damage it causes and creates which is why I consider myself to be more anti Ai. Generative Ai and Ai’s like ChatGPT and others of the sort are very harmful to the environment which is why I tend to never use them. One of the ways I check to see if a news source is reliable is check if any other news websites have posted about the same event or story. I always like to cross check things to see if they use the same sources or quotes. I would consider myself active on social media like X but I never fully read the news articles. Rather just read the headlines and if I find a headline that interests me or sparks my attention I will look up the headline on another website to read it. I do this because I have no idea if the source that was posted was legit or not and so I do it to double check and fact check anything I might’ve read. I do not watch or listen to any podcasts as they typically do not interest me as I have never really listened to them before. I do like looking at graphs that show data about topics. My favorite things about graphs is seeing how they change over the years which lets me think of the reasons for their changes and why they would change.

I’m more interested in national news on the things that go on in the country, when I do try to keep up to date on stuff I either like to read about this stuff or watch videos on the news stories.
