{"id":103,"date":"2020-02-18T17:20:15","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T23:20:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/nonprofit\/?p=103"},"modified":"2020-02-18T17:31:22","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T23:31:22","slug":"join-us-in-montreal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/nonprofit\/2020\/02\/18\/join-us-in-montreal\/","title":{"rendered":"Join Us in Montreal!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uww.edu\/cobe\/departments\/department-of-management\/nonprofit-management\">Nonprofit Management<\/a> program at UW-W is collaborating with <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hbi\/\">The Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management<\/a>\u00a0 at the upcoming 2020 conference of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istr.org\/\">International Society of Third-Sector Research<\/a> (ISTR) in Montreal, Quebec!\u00a0 Together, we&#8217;re sponsoring a day-long workshop entitled:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Human Resource Management &amp; Employee Relations in the Nonprofit Sector: A Comparative Look at Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking\u00a0<em><strong>two<\/strong> <\/em>Wisconsin-based nonprofit professionals with extensive experience in nonprofit HR and\/or volunteer management practice to take part in a round table discussion on major HR &amp; employment trends, dimensions, and issues in nonprofit organizations across North America.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>The scholarship will cover round trip airfare to Montreal from Milwaukee, 2 nights lodging (July 8-10), and registration to the ISTR conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that some meals will be provided as part of the conference registration. Remaining meals will be at the recipients&#8217; own expense.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship application deadline is March 6, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants will need to submit a letter of interest and current resume.
