AI in China

The documentary talked a great deal about artificial intelligence and how it is implemented in daily life in China. A man named Paul Mozur from the New York Times said he believed that China saw how advanced Google had gotten with their artificial intelligence and decided it was time for them to also work on that as well. The video showed Xi Jinping talking about how he thought China would catch up to the U.S. by 2025 and would later lead the world in artificial intelligence. Something new that I also learned is that stores use artificial intelligence in place of credit cards, which I did not know.
