Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1

Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1 is the self-released seven-track debut mini-album by Lil Peep.

It was originally due out 11 August before being pushed back at the last minute, to 1 September, then appearing online late on 15 August.

The album features production from Smokeasacand IIVI, and was made with help from Grammy-winning musician Rob Cavallo, bassist Juan Alderete, and Dylan Mullen. It’s the first Lil Peep project without samples, which were heavily used in his previous tracks.

After Lil Peeps untimely death I decided to listen to his album and was surprisingly impressed with Peep’s music. This album was something that took me a little bit to start but once I did I was glad I gave this project a chance. Peep ventures into a new genre of rap, Emo rap. Some of his songs are sad and gets you lost in your thoughts but I thought that this helped him reach out to his audience and tell them what is on his mind.
