And since the beginning of April I have been working between 32-36 hours a week at a grocery. During this time I have been making a more conscious effort to limit my spending and save as much money as possibly.&nbsp;And I have being tracking my spending more frequently because of a recent social media trend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the beginning of the year, many influencers on Youtube, TikTok, and Instagram, were sharing what they spend in a week. I found this trend extremely interesting because it showcased how different people chose to spend their money. So I thought it would be interesting to showcase how I, a fulltime college student working 32-36 hours a week, chose to spend my money.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Monday 9\/28<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mcdonalds- $1.06 on a large Diet Coke\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/4f\/fe\/6a\/4ffe6a0c755cc18ee589293d6a262c48.jpg\" alt=\"McDonalds Coke:) | Fast food drinks, Diet coke, Coke\" width=\"104\" height=\"174\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday 9\/29<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon- $14.41 on a required class book <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ulta- $15.83 on new makeup items that I did not need<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday 9\/30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did not spend any money this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday 10\/1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also did not spend any money this day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday 10\/2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work- $1.74 vending machine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work- $.85 vending machine&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discount Tires- $650 on new tires\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hips.hearstapps.com\/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com\/images\/pile-of-tires-on-white-background-royalty-free-image-672151801-1561751929.jpg?crop=1.00xw:0.629xh;0,0.311xh&amp;resize=1200:*\" alt=\"New Tire Buying Guide: Everything You Need to Know\" width=\"249\" height=\"125\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday 10\/3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Target- $46.18 on new clothes&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dunkin- $2.10 on a iced latte<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunday 10\/4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bite Beauty- $37.34 on more makeup that I did not need&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dunkin- $2.10 on a iced latte&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/morganjean\/files\/2020\/10\/image.png\" alt=\"Menu | Classics &amp; New Favorites | Dunkin'\u00ae\" class=\"wp-image-53\" width=\"202\" height=\"36\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/morganjean\/files\/2020\/10\/image.png 530w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/morganjean\/files\/2020\/10\/image-300x54.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 202px) 100vw, 202px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In total I spent $771.61, which is higher than I thought it would be. I would consider this week&#8217;s spending to be extremely abnormal because I had to buy new tires for my car.
