The Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the Charlotte Hornets last night winning 114-104. this was the 3rd game between the two teams this year in the Bucs have lost the previous two and they knew they could not be swept by the Hornets this season. Bucs were led by Giannis who had 29 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists along with Brook Lopez adding 22 points.  Giannis went 11 for 19 from the fuel and went five for five from the free-throw line as well. Giannis quotes “we came out with focus knowing they had beat us twice we wanted to get one and not get swept” (ESPN). Giannis got a little angry when PJ Washington from the Hornets tried to intentionally trip him after he stole the ball from him. Bucks Brook Lopez shot 9 from 12 from the field dominating both ends of the paint on both sides of the floor. With the help of seven-foot Brook Lopez outrebounded the Hornets 48 to 38. Bucks lead at halftime 62 to 45 with the help of Giannis both offensively and defensively. The Bucks were only up by four points with four minutes left but Terry Rozier missed a key 3 pointer in Giannis answered with a dunk off a lethal spin move on the other end. Hornets coach believes that the team is moving in the right direction which is great but they are struggling right now with injuries due to Gordon Hayward LaMelo Ball and Malik Monk. The bucks will travel to Houston to take on the Rockets at 7:00 o’clock tonight, hopefully, this should be an easy game for Milwaukee.

This was a huge win for the bucks, avoiding a season sweep from the Hornets is just as big. If Giannis can keep up his great play the Bucks they can have a deep run in the playoffs.
