With Giannis of the lineup, the Bucks were able to pull off a massive win against the Timberwolves 130-105. The bucks were led by Khris Middleton who had 27 points eight rebounds and seven assists within only three-quarters of play. Brook Lopez added 18 points and eight rebounds along with drew holiday having 15 points. The Bucs had the biggest lead of the night with 30 points early in the fourth quarter knowing that they’re going to win. The Bucs have lost their past six of nine games after losing to Orlando 124-87 on Sunday. Middleton quotes “it was a great effort all around from everybody who stepped up on the court come just trying to play the right way compete defend” (ESPN). The past six games Bucks are three and three without star MVP Giannis Antetokoumpo. Milwaukee is the number third seed controlled in the playoffs entering a three-game deficit behind the Brooklyn Nets in the Philadelphia 76ers. For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards had 24 points going 5-11 from the 3-point range. The Wolves have lost their last 11 out of 15 games. The Bucs had scored 45 points in the third quarter which is their second-highest all season long. Karl Anthony Town missed his second consecutive game due to personal reasons for the surrounding one-year anniversary of his mother’s death due to COVID-19. The bucks have been looking good without star Giannis and they will continue to play tonight as they travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks.
