The Milwaukee Bucks traveled to Los Angles to take on the Clippers last night and fell short 129-105. The Clippers hit 19 three-pointers to secure the win, and continue their six-game winning streak. For the Clippers, they were lead by Marcus Morris who had 25 points, along with three other starters who had 20 points. Kawhi Leonard had 23 points with nine rebounds, and guard Luke Kennard had his season-high with 21. Paul George was still injured for last night’s game, but with their shooting, they were unstoppable. The Clippers won the rebounding matchup 46-23 with 25 points off second chances. For the Bucks, Giannis lead the team with 32 points and going 10-12 at the free-throw line. Jrue Holiday contributed with 24 points as well. The Bucks are tied for first with the average of points per game with is 119.3. Bucks shot 68% in the first quarter giving them an 18-3 run and had a lead of 12. The Clippers only lead 57-55 at halftime, so Bucks were in it throughout the first half. Clippers had a 13 point lead heading into the fourth quarter and Milwaukee couldn’t separate the difference. Milwaukee has been lacking on the defensive side the past few games giving up an excessive amount of points and second-chance opportunities for teams. Bucks coach Budenholzer agrees that they need to step up on the defense in order to win some more games and perform in the playoffs.

Although the Bucks loss this one, it shows that Giannis is getting better as a player and as a leader. The Bucks have just added a few key pieces so it’ll take some time to mesh the team together but Giannis is doing a great job at leading the bucks. We loss by a lot, but I’m not too worried about the LAC.

Even though the Bucks lost this game they still played a good game. I can’t believe that they shot 68% in the first but still ended up losing the game. Getting Jrue this offseason is showing that he is one of the most important players on this team. If the Bucks can start to defend better they can beat the better teams in the league.
