The Milwaukee Bucks lose bad the the Denver Nuggets at home last night. Final score was 128-97, this will snap the Buck’s five game winning streak. Nikola Jokic (Joker) had a triple double with, 37 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds in the win. This is his ninth on the season. Nuggets coach explained how Jokic never gets fatigue on the court and always performs in clutch times. Also mentioned when he was on the bench that he joined huddles, cheered up his teammates, and always made jokes. Nuggets star point guard, Jamal Murray had 24 points on the night which now have the Nuggets continue their three game win streak. Nuggets shot 55.8% on the night, which has been the highest the Bucks have seen all season. Coach Malone of the Nuggets quotes, ” It’s definitely up there for best win of the year” (ESPN). Giannis had 27 points for the bucks along with eight rebounds, but was not even close to enough to hold off the hot Nuggets. Coach Bud quotes, “We just were not good against the zone” (ESPN). Bucks looked rough shooting against the zone. Giannis shot 10-15 overall in the first quarter, but was not enough to stop the Nuggets who ended the quarter on a 15-2 run. The momentum was in the Nuggets favor leading into the second quarter when they extended their lead to 21 points. Nuggets continued to have a double digit lead throughout the whole second half of the game. Bucks travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzles tomorrow night to bounce back from a dramatic loss against Denver.

The Bucks got absolutely destroyed by the Denver Nuggets. Solid game by Giannis per usual and Khris had a decent game as well. The Bucks will need to deepen their bench before the trade deadline. I don’t think they have as great a bench as other teams do. Bobby Portis and Bryn Forbes are great but we need at least two more guys to help bring 10+ points a night to help propel us into a deeper playoff run than 2020.
