Things went south when another group of men started a fight with Ray\u2019s group. According to police, Ray was not aggressive. After the fight. Ray and his buddies began to walk back to their car when an oncoming SUV opened fire and killed Ray. According to various sources, such as Yahoo News and TMZ, Joseph is believed to be either seen around the time of the shooting or was in the SUV when it occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; According to ESPN, one of the men was wearing a necklace with a pendant that read \u201cYKDV.\u201d Joseph\u2019s rap name is apparently \u201cYKDV Bossman Fat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Dallas Cowboys released a statement saying that they are aware of the situation, have been in contact with the Dallas Police Department and have notified the league office about this matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joseph was not the only NFL player to have legal troubles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/michaelbsnflblog22\/files\/2022\/04\/cowboys-kelvin-joseph.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-114\" width=\"291\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/michaelbsnflblog22\/files\/2022\/04\/cowboys-kelvin-joseph.jpg 700w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/michaelbsnflblog22\/files\/2022\/04\/cowboys-kelvin-joseph-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><figcaption>Kelvin Joseph<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Former Dallas Cowboys\u2019 and current Carolina Panthers linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested last week after apparently threatening to kill his girlfriend with a tire iron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Wilson\u2019s girlfriend, Ryan Sokolosky, told the Dallas Morning News that he had gone off the rails after she had broken up with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sokolosky said that Wilson reportedly \u201cemerged from the bushes holding a tire iron\u201d at her home and threatened to kill her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Wilson\u2019s attorney, Toby Shook, said in a statement that Wilson \u201cdid not commit any type of assault.\u201d He added that \u201cwe look forward to all the facts coming out so that his name can be cleared.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Wilson played 22 games for Dallas from 2015-2018.
