This week I want to talk about a healthy recipe that is not only healthy, but also is also yummy, satisfying, and pretty easy to make!! Nothing better than that! I am going to share with you one of my favorites!

The recipe is spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs! I love this one because it has all the yummy Italian flavors of spaghetti with almost no carbs!!! The spaghetti squash is still incredibly satisfying and a great replacement for the actual noodles! On top of that, the recipe is simple to make with not too many ingredients!

You will need the following: Ground Turkey (I usually get the leanest one possible), Italian Breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, and anything else you may want to add into the meatballs!!! You will also need spaghetti squash, olive oil, some seasoning to cook into the squash, and your favorite pasta sauce! For the spices I usually use garlic powder, salt, and pepper!

To make this I preheat my oven to about 375 degrees Fahrenheit. I put a little bit of olive oil on the squash and the seasoning. Then, I just throw it in the oven for around 40-45 minutes or until it looks a little golden around the edges. You will be able to tell when it is done by the texture and some may prefer it more cooked than others. I would just recommend being careful with overcooking them because they may become mushy!

While the squash is cooking I usually start making the meatballs! I mix in a cup of breadcrumbs and the eggs into the ground turkey! I then roll them into balls and brown them in a pan on the stove. Once they are brown on the outsides, I bake them in the oven for about 25-30 minutes! Always check to make sure they are cooked properly and thoroughly.

Once the squash is done in the oven let it cool for about 10 minutes! This will give the meatballs time to finish up! Next shred it into the spaghetti shape with a fork! Heat your favorite pasta sauce, add it to the squash with the meatballs (maybe some parmesan too), and enjoy!!!!! , and your favorite pasta sauce!

Hello everyone and welcome back!!!
