Nutritionist Marion Nestle will talk about “Obesity Wars: The Food Industry vs. Public Health<\/a>,” on Mon., March 12, at 7 pm in the Irvin L. Young Auditorium. It’s the next Spring 2012 Contemporary Issues Lecture<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nestle is a professor of sociology in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and Public Health at New York University. She is also the author of “What to Eat, food politics: How the food industry influences nutrition” and “Health and safe food: The politics of food safety.”<\/p>\n
