The fall 2011 Fairhaven Lecture Series<\/a> has the theme “WISCONSIN: A Heritage To Be Proud Of,” and will help you learn about Wisconsin’s business, cultural, environmental and historical contributions. All lectures in this series are free, open to the public, and take place on Mondays at 3 p.m. in Fellowship Hall of the Fairhaven Retirement Community (435 West Starin Road, Whitewater). The lecture on Mon., Oct. 3rd, at 3 p.m.<\/strong> is “Muir, Leopold, and Nelson: Tracing Wisconsin’s environmental legacy into the 21st Century<\/strong><\/span>,” presented by Eric Compas<\/a>, UWW Gis Center Director and faculty in the Dept. of Geography and Geology<\/a>.<\/p>\n
