Take a drive over to Edgerton on Saturday, September 24, and check out their annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edgertonbookfestival.com\/\" title=\"Sterling North Book &amp; Film Festival\" target=\"_blank\">Sterling North Book &amp; Film Festival<\/a>. More than 20 authors are expected to appear at the event, including Alison Arngrim (&#8220;Nellie Oleson&#8221; from TV&#8217;s &#8220;Little House on the Prairie&#8221;), and UW-Whitewater&#8217;s own Margot Peters, a 1969-1991 professor of English. Ms. Peters&#8217; latest book is a biography titled <em>Lorine Niedecker: A Poet\u2019s Life<\/em>. A complete <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edgertonbookfestival.com\/#!authors\/\" title=\"list of authors\" target=\"_blank\">list of authors<\/a> is available on the event website.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the author talks, there will be a huge used book sale from 10am-4pm in the Tri-County Community Center in Edgerton, where two of the authors, Alison Arngrim and Jon Scieszka, will sign copies of their books from 1pm-4pm.<\/p>\n<p>The event website doesn&#8217;t list an itinerary of where each author is speaking and when. If you&#8217;re interested in hearing a particular author speak, try calling the newspaper office, the <em>Edgerton Reporter<\/em>, at (608) 884-3367 for specifics. They published a special insert on the event this week.
