Gaming Week will be held Monday, November 8-Thursday, November 11, 2010.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Nov. 8<\/strong>: The documentary <em>Get Lamp<\/em> will be shown in the TV area on the Library&#8217;s main floor. Showings are at Noon, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm. <em>Get Lamp<\/em> is a documentary about the creation of text-based \u201ccomputer adventure games\u201d in the early 1980s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2 pm-5 pm<\/strong>: Free Play! PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles will be set up near the library entrance. Stop over and play!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 10, 3:30 pm-5:30 pm<\/strong> &#8211; Medium difficulty Guitar Hero tournament<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Nov. 11, 3:30 pm-5:30 pm<\/strong> &#8211; Expert difficulty Guitar Hero tournament<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 10 &amp; Thursday, Nov. 11, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm<\/strong> &#8211; Battle of the Bands! Form your own team of four players taking on lead guitar, bass, drums and singing.<\/p>\n<p>Advance registration is required for all tournaments. Space is limited, so sign up early! Sign up sheets are available on the Andersen Library&#8217;s main floor in front of the Circulation Desk.
