Once ratified by the states, it established the federal government we know today. I&#8217;ll bet there&#8217;s a lot about this document that you don&#8217;t know. See &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/constitutioncenter.org\/ncc_progs_10_Fast_Facts_on_the_Constitution.aspx\">10 fast facts on the Constitution<\/a>&#8221; from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.constitutioncenter.org\/\">National Constitution Center<\/a> in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/exhibits\/charters\/constitution_q_and_a.html\">Constitution of the United States: Questions &amp; Answers<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/\">National Archives<\/a>.
