It&#8217;s no surprise! 8 children from ages 2 to 8 years old visited Andersen Library on April 5, 2024, to participate in the library\u2019s ninth Annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover. The children from families of UW-Whitewater students, staff, faculty, and the Children&#8217;s Center participated in a craft followed by a story time.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/library\/files\/2024\/04\/Robot-board.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"703\" height=\"775\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/library\/files\/2024\/04\/Robot-board.jpg\" alt=\"students painting props\" class=\"wp-image-26547\" style=\"width:250px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/library\/files\/2024\/04\/Robot-board.jpg 703w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/library\/files\/2024\/04\/Robot-board-272x300.jpg 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 703px) 100vw, 703px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Library student staff members took a lead role in planning and prepping activities. Beep! Go to sleep! <\/a>by Todd Tarpley, illustrated by John Rocco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, there\u2019s always a song or two to sing. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-3MVWpXrB5o\">What Would You Do If a Robot Came to Tea<\/a> fit perfectly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before heading home, the children said goodbye to their stuffies for the evening. The stuffies stayed up all night exploring the library, reading more stories, making robot friends, and taking photos, with the assistance of student volunteer photographer Lilian Schildbach.
