So don&#8217;t discount government sources, for academic research papers or real-world applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you find them?<\/strong> Many are in the <a href=\"http:\/\/wtwlib.wisconsin.edu\/\">Library Catalog<\/a> and show up in your search results, along with other Library materials such as books and videos. You can also do a Google search limited to government sites: either go to Google&#8217;s special <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/unclesam?hl=en\">U.S. Government Search<\/a> or, when using regular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/\">Google<\/a>, add <strong>site:.gov<\/strong> to your search.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/images\/library\/blog\/gpologo.gif\" alt=\"Government Printing Office logo\" width=\"60\" height=\"58\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"small\">The University Library is a federal depository with many federal, state, local, and international documents on a variety of current and relevant issues available to you in print, microfiche, CD-ROM, and electronically.
