Library, Caf\u00e9 hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A student at the Reference Desk earlier this week commented that it was hard to be motivated right now, but there was soooooooo much to do. Yes, Spring Break beckons.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/images\/library\/blog\/palmtree.jpg\" alt=\"clip art of palm tree\" \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #003300;\">Andersen Library\u2019s hours will be:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Sat.-Sun. <strong>Mar 18-19<\/strong>: CLOSED<br \/>\nMon-Fri <strong>Mar 20-24<\/strong>: 8am-4:30pm<br \/>\nSat <strong>Mar 25:<\/strong> CLOSED<br \/>\nSun <strong>Mar 26:<\/strong> 3pm-2am (only 2nd floor is open midnight-2am)<br \/>\nMon <strong>Mar 27:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/library.uww.edu\/hours#spring\" target=\"_blank\">normal semester hours<\/a> resume<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>The Food for Thought caf\u00e9 is open on Thurs Mar 16 from 8:45am-2pm, but then is closed Fri Mar 17 through Sun Mar 26.<\/strong><\/span> It resumes normal hours on Mon Mar 27. There are vending machines outside the Library, on the lower level. Break hours for other on-campus dining options are <a href=\"https:\/\/new.dineoncampus.com\/uww\/spring-break-hours-of-service\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that even when the Library is closed or you are traveling, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search <a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.uww.edu\/az.php\" target=\"_blank\">article databases<\/a> \u2026just login when prompted with your campus Net-ID (same as for your campus email or D2L),<\/li>\n<li>Search Andersen Library\u2019s holdings of <a href=\"http:\/\/uw-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/primo_library\/libweb\/action\/dlSearch.do?dscnt=1&amp;displayMode=full&amp;vid=WW&amp;institution=WW&amp;search_scope=WW_VOY\" target=\"_blank\">books, media and more<\/a> (part of Research@UWW) and use links to the titles that are online, including ereserves for classes,<\/li>\n<li>Search <a title=\"Research@UWW\" href=\"http:\/\/uw-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/primo_library\/libweb\/action\/search.do?menuitem=0&amp;fromTop=true&amp;fromPreferences=false&amp;fromEshelf=false&amp;vid=WW\" target=\"_blank\">Research@UWW<\/a> for articles, books, and more all at one time\u2013it\u2019s best to login to get all possible results.<\/li>\n<li>Renew your checked-out books, DVDs, etc., online (<strong>once<\/strong>) through your <a href=\"http:\/\/uw-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/primo_library\/libweb\/action\/login.do?loginFn=signin&amp;vid=WW&amp;targetURL=http%3a%2f%2fuw-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com%3a80%2fprimo_library%2flibweb%2faction%2fmyAccountMenu.do%3fdscnt%3d0%26amp%3bdstmp%3d1406139319763%26amp%3bvid%3dWW%26amp%3binitializeIndex%3dtrue\" target=\"_blank\">Account<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>Consult online guides for assistance, including <a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.uww.edu\/citing-resources\" target=\"_blank\">citation guides<\/a> for APA, MLA, and Turabian format, and <a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.uww.edu\/content.php?pid=378148&amp;sid=3097383\" target=\"_blank\">class assignment guides<\/a>, and<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/library.uww.edu\/get-help\/ask-a-librarian\" target=\"_blank\">Ask a librarian<\/a> for help using email or chat, or phone us at the Reference Desk (262-472-1032) during Spring Break Reference Desk hours (Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm, Sunday March 27th 3-5 &amp; 6-10pm).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy the break safely, everybody.
