If you miss it, Andersen Library has the book by Naomi Klein <em>This changes everything: Capitalism vs. the climate<\/em> (2nd-floor New Arrivals Island, HC79.E5 K56 2014).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/images\/library\/blog\/warmandwetsm.jpg\" alt=\"A photo of the greenhouse from my tour in 2012\" class=\"alignright\"  \/>I&#8217;ve taken a <strong>tour of the greenhouse<\/strong>, so I can highly recommend it. The tour is available on Mon, Apr 18, starting at 6pm at the back entrance to Upham Hall, or on Tues, Apr 19, noon-1:30pm meeting at the greenhouse attached to Upham Hall (also included: the campus garden and information for prospective volunteers).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teach-in on water resources issues<\/strong>, both global and here in Wisconsin, organized by SAGE (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sage.uww\" target=\"_blank\">Students Allied for a Green Earth<\/a>) on Tues, Apr 19, from 6-7:30pm in Upham 141.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>last <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/cls\/about\/lectures\" target=\"_blank\">Contemporary Issues Lecture<\/a><\/strong> will be delivered at 7pm on Wed Apr 20 (Young Auditorium) by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/contributors\/elizabeth-kolbert\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Kolbert<\/a><\/strong>, journalist and author of <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=Ra9RAQAAQBAJ&#038;printsec=frontcover&#038;dq=sixth+extinction&#038;hl=en&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=0ahUKEwjRsP7JnZnMAhWEm4MKHYQdAfkQ6AEIKzAA#v=onepage&#038;q=sixth%20extinction&#038;f=false\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>The Sixth Extinction: An unnatural history<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, for which she won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction. Andersen Library has a copy of <em>The Sixth Extinction<\/em> (3rd-floor Main Collection, QE721.2.E97 K65 2014), and UWW students and staff may request copies from other UW campus libraries via the free <a href=\"http:\/\/uw-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/WW:UW_VOY:UWI71333974220002121\" target=\"_blank\">UW Request<\/a> service (requested items arrive in 2-5 weekdays).
