Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/blog\/2012\/01\/13\/archives-president-reagan-designates-martin-luther-king-jr-day-federal-holiday\" target=\"_blank\">designated a federal holiday in 1983<\/a>. Many people and organizations use it as a day of service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andersen Library will be closed Sat. Jan. 16-Mon.
