Leadership Assistants are responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serving as Center liaisons for Career &amp; Leadership Development. Assistants will maintain and create connections with student organizations, faculty, and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Brokering relationships between student organizations and departments to enhance and support affinity group programming.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing the EXPOSED series, collaborate and consult with resident organizations and advisors.<\/li>\n<li>Seeking out students and assist in developing their individual Involvement Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining up-to-date campus and regional information that supports the vision and the mission of the Career &amp; Leadership Development and the needs of those using the Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acceptable candidates will possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a strong sense of integrity, dedication and commitment to this position<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work with diverse people and create a collaborative\/welcoming environment<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to follow through efficiently on all assigned or independently appointed tasks<\/li>\n<li>Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please send a letter of intent regarding this position with an updated resume referring to the work you have done within the LGBT* community to Chris Hollar at <a href=\"mailto:hollarc@uww.edu\">hollarc@uww.edu<\/a>.
