As the Spring 2017 semester comes to a close, here are a few things to plan for in the coming weeks and to anticipate for Fall 2017:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Preferred Name Update: the preferred name policy is set to launch for summer term, pending approval by the Chancellor\u2019s Cabinet<\/li>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<li><strong>Safe Zone Training: final Spring workshop, scheduled for May 19th 12pm-2pm. Stephanie will co-facilitate with Dr. Julie Minikel-Lacocque<\/li>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<li><strong>Stephanie is working on the Campus Pride Index self assessment, contacting individuals in admissions for more information<\/li>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<li><strong>2017-2018 Goal Setting<\/strong>\n<p>a.       We discussed creating more visibility for our group as a resource and as allies.<br \/>\nb.      We also discussed letting the standards set by Campus Pride Index to guide some of our efforts next year.<br \/>\nc.       We may also carry-over the conversation about an IMPACT learning community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you to all involved with the committee and the LGBT* community for making the Spring 2017 semester a success! We look forward to coming together again in the Fall and working together on more great projects!
