    Hello Dr. Navarro,
My name is Toutoule Ntoya and I am a doctoral student at the Rossier School of Education at University of Southern California. I am a former student athlete myself and have a passion for working with student athletes. I teach a freshman level course to freshman on being self regulated learners. The majority of the students in my class are student athletes and the article that you were interviewed for on student athletes and majors struck a cord with me. The article was in Inside Higher Ed titled “Parents role in Athletes Academics”. I was searching for the article that was referenced and couldn’t find it. I would love to read the article and learn what you found in your research. My colleagues and I are organizing our first ever Student Athlete symposium for high school student athletes making the transition to college and have a similar interest that you have in presenting student athletes with information to be successful in college and beyond. Thank you for taking the time to read this email. I hope to hear from you very soon.
