In these three videos, we see how media is taking over and in this sense marketing a movie without the company doing it. In the Jenkins interview video he talks about how teenagers wanting the media they want where they want it and no matter if they get it illegally they’ll get it. In the Hunger Games we see pages dedicated to news about the movie and how it’s all in one place. If this wasn’t the case the teens and people creating and running the pages wouldn’t as engaged because they want it there and now. In terms of the first Jenkins video he talks about transmedia and how specifically in that video The Matrix had movies, games and comic books about it. This basically shows that the media consumes us in every way, we want to engage in certain pages, movies or shows we enjoy. We want to be apart of and live in the fantasy world that is being portrayed and we get very into it, which in turn creates the success and multiple different types of media being created to enjoy the product.
